Blooming marvelous. Brodie's Prime. New favorite beer

Never seen so many different types of beer in one place. I'm no expert but there must be something here to suit every taste. Good atmosphere, good staff and loving location

Fantastic beers. But no where near enough out door seating for those sunny days!

My partner and I came up to the brewery a few days ago (even with the country being battered by snow at the time) and we just loved it!We had the brewery tour at 1pm (which costs around 8 a ticket) and it was very informative and was great to see that everything is pretty much hands on. Watched a short video about the history and heritage of the brewery and then went through the various stages of the brewing process.Once the tour had finished we both then were able to redeem our beer tokens which entitles you to one pint of anything youd like or two halves. Since my partner was the designated driver I took full advantage and had 4 halves of different beers (see pictures)Whilst trying the beers we tried the tapas style food on offer which was fantastic! Our favourite was the spicy sausage and sweetcorn fritters. Absolutely delicious! After wed finished up I couldnt go home empty handed so bought a hawkshead beer gift pack and a tulip glass.Definitely will be returning when Im back down that neck of the woods again! Top notch brewery and all the staff are attentive and friendly.

Have visited here a few times now and have always been impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean environment and quirkiness of the place. As well as showcasing many of the ales and lagers brewed on site the food offering here is recommended; from extremely generous "tapas" offerings at 3.50 to more substantial dishes the quality is good. The place seems popular with tourists and locals alike and is always buzzing. Clientele varies from walkers to family groups or, in our case, travellers taking a welcome respite on our journey to the Lakes. It's worth checking out the website for opening hours (late night Saturday and Sunday only) and other details such as the daily brewery tour at 1pm. There is also a wide selection of memorabilia for purchase as well as beers to take home. Wether you happen to be passing or looking for a lunch destination you shouldn't be disappointed.
