I bought a Cateye Strada Slim speed and mileage gadget on Tuesday. When I got it home , it would not switch on. I phoned them and they said that the batteries were drained. They took my address and by Thursday I received the new batteries in the post. Great. Now fitted, working and recording the days outing by 15.30. Delighted!
Well stocked shops, but having spent 5grand on a bike in their Staveley shop, I consequently asked if they offer discounts on some of their clothing and was nearly laughed at!Shop about!!
Pretty good range of everything. Pity they don't stock Commencal bikes and gear though.
The team is helpful and knowledgeable. When they discovered that the part Id visited for wasnt actually in stock, they pulled out all the stops to get me riding again; as well as some skilled wheel and drivetrain work, they also shared their trail knowledge, which proved stupendously good.
Feel like was taken for bit of a mug. Bought front basket for wife's bike at 49, seemed bit pricey but looked substantial. Got it home and noticed price tag was new, stuck over an older one. Great, I've got a bargain I thought, as I carefully removed it, expecting to see a higher price tag beneath. Imagine my consternation when the 'old' price tag showed 45!Moral - they ain't a cheap shop and watch their price tags.
