Very busy at lunchtime but excellent cheese on toast with a very tasty ingredient-rich salad was worth waiting for. Good service. Recommend.
The staff are always welcoming, the food always tasty and the prices are reasonable. Not surprisingly it's always busy, but you can usually find a space. Dogs, boots and children welcome.

This is the ultimate cafe for outdoor types. Boots and dogs welcome. Good quality satisfying meals at a great price. Lovely staff and the owners couldn't be nicer.and also the satisfaction of supporting a business who. help save the planet and lead the way for ethical and ecological aware trading. They make Staveley a better place to live in and visit.
Nice little cafe. Lots of different areas to sit inside. Plenty of character. Nice and clean everywhere, toilets included. Two outside seating areas overlooking a river. Menu is pretty decent as well with reasonable prices. Last time I went I had a full English breakfast for 7.90, which included a cafetiere of coffee. I always call in when I go to Wheelbase to look at really expensive bicycles that I can't afford.
